Scroll to viewA winter on northern coastlines, waiting for fog to lift or settle.
Salt Light began as a week of bad weather and turned into a winter. I went north to photograph cliffs and came back with fog, still water and a lot of waiting.
Most frames were made in the hour after sunrise or the hour before dark, on a tripod, with exposures long enough to smooth the sea into something closer to how it felt.
